YOUR ISLANDS, DAY BY DAY
Your suggested itinerary.
A starting point for your trip. We tailor the activities, island stays and pace to you, subject to availability.
THREE ISLANDS · SEVEN NIGHTS
DAY 01San Cristóbal arrival & Playa MannOvernight · San Cristóbal
Arrive at San Cristóbal Airport and transfer to your hotel in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. Keep the afternoon gentle with time at Playa Mann, where sea lions are often seen. The first day is adjusted to your arrival time.
Getting around Airport transfer; local walking
DAY 02Kicker Rock snorkeling excursionOvernight · San Cristóbal
A proposed guided boat excursion to Kicker Rock combines dramatic volcanic scenery with snorkeling. This is an open-water experience: tell us about your swimming confidence so we can suggest an appropriate alternative if needed. The boat itinerary and wildlife sightings depend on conditions.
Getting around Shared excursion boat; local transfers as quoted
DAY 03Santa Cruz crossing & highland tortoisesOvernight · Santa Cruz
Travel by scheduled passenger boat to Santa Cruz, then visit a highland tortoise reserve with a guide if arrival timing allows. Settle into Puerto Ayora for the evening. Reserve admission and transfers will be identified in your quote.
Getting around Inter-island passenger boat; road transfer
DAY 04Isabela arrival & Puerto VillamilOvernight · Isabela
Continue by passenger boat to Isabela. After checking in, explore Puerto Villamil and its beach at your own pace. Leave time to recover from the crossing rather than committing to another long excursion.
Getting around Inter-island passenger boat; local transfers as quoted
DAY 05Los Túneles snorkelingOvernight · Isabela
Join a proposed guided boat trip to Los Túneles to explore its lava formations and snorkeling sites. Turtles, rays and other marine wildlife may be encountered. Access depends on sea conditions and availability; an alternative will be discussed if the visit cannot operate.
Getting around Shared excursion boat
DAY 06Sierra Negra or a gentler island dayOvernight · Isabela
Choose a guided Sierra Negra hike for volcanic landscapes, or ask for a shorter coastal activity and more time in Puerto Villamil. Walking conditions and the route vary; we will match the day to your activity level before confirming.
Getting around Road transfer for the hike; walking
DAY 07Return to Santa Cruz & time in Puerto AyoraOvernight · Santa Cruz
Return to Santa Cruz by passenger boat and check into your hotel. Depending on arrival time, explore Puerto Ayora or visit the Charles Darwin Research Station. Staying here tonight avoids scheduling an Isabela crossing on the morning of your flight.
Getting around Inter-island passenger boat
DAY 08Transfer to Baltra Airport
Travel across Santa Cruz to the Itabaca Channel, cross to Baltra and continue to the airport. Your pickup is arranged around your confirmed flight to mainland Ecuador.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE
Questions about your itinerary.
Which airports fit this eight-day itinerary?
The suggested route starts on San Cristóbal and ends with departure from Baltra. Check both airports against your confirmed itinerary before booking flights.
How are the seven hotel nights divided?
Two nights on San Cristóbal, one on Santa Cruz, three on Isabela and a final night back on Santa Cruz. Returning before departure separates the Isabela crossing from the day of your flight.
Can I make the three-island tour less hurried?
Ask for extra nights at the same bases or discuss fewer island moves. If open-water snorkeling or longer walks do not suit you, alternatives must be agreed in your proposal.
Is this a fixed package?
No. This itinerary is a starting point. We adapt the trip before confirmation, subject to availability and practical travel arrangements.
What is included in the price?
Your personal proposal will list accommodation, activities, transfers, meals where applicable, inclusions, exclusions and the total price in USD. Request your tailored quote to confirm these details for your dates.
Will every excursion be private?
A tailor-made trip can combine private and shared services. Your proposal will explain which applies to each activity and transfer.
Can I choose the exact wildlife I see?
You can tell us which wildlife interests you most. Sightings vary, and the animals shown in our photographs are not guaranteed on any departure.
